Thyroid Panel TSH, free t4
THYPAN
This panel includes Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and free T4 (thyroxine or thyroid hormone). Together these tests will detect over-functioning or under-functioning thyroid glands in over 95% of cases. Your report will include the amount of TSH and free T4 measured in your blood, reference values (the upper and lower limits for most healthy people of your age and gender), and an interpretation of your results with general recommendations. Occasionally these test results are inconclusive and further testing under the guidance of your physician will be required.
