Cholesterol Panel
LIPPAN

This panel includes your total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL (“good”) cholesterol, LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, VLDL cholesterol, and a risk factor based on the total cholesterol to HDL ratio. Elevated cholesterol and triglycerides are known to contribute to the risk of developing atherosclerosis and heart attacks. Your values will be reported to you along with desirable values for someone of your age and sex, an interpretation of your results, and general recommendations.

Special Instructions: You should be fasting for 10 to 12 hours before your blood is drawn for this test.

Price : US$20.00

Comprehensive Lipid (Cholesterol) Panel
COMPLP

Lipids in the blood refer to all types of cholesterol, triglycerides, and other related substances. This group of tests includes all the tests listed for the Cholesterol Panel above plus Lipoprotein(a) and small dense LDL, additional compounds that have been shown to increase the risk for developing atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Your values will be reported to you along with desirable values for someone of your age and sex, an interpretation of your results, and general recommendations.

Special Instructions:  You should be fasting for 10 to 12 hours before your blood is drawn for this test.

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
CMPAN

This is a commonly-ordered test panel that is used in the initial evaluation of many patients.  This group of tests includes albumin, alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), bilirubin, BUN, creatinine, calcium, carbon dioxide, chloride, glucose, potassium, sodium, and total protein.  All of these results will be reported to you along with reference values (the upper and lower limits for most healthy people of your age and sex), and an interpretation with general recommendations.

Special Instructions:  None.

Price : US$17.00

Iron Deficiency Panel
FEPAN

Iron deficiency is a very common cause of anemia.   Iron deficiency can be caused by inadequate iron in the diet or by blood loss. The tests for iron deficiency include iron concentration in the blood, ferritin, total iron binding capacity (TIBC) and percent saturation of transferrin.  Ferritin is a compound that serves to store iron and the amount present in the blood reflects the total body stores of iron.  Transferrin is a carrier protein for iron.  The results of these tests will be reported to you with an interpretation of your iron status and general recommendations.

Special Instructions:  None

Thyroid Panel TSH, free t4
THYPAN

This panel includes Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and free T4 (thyroxine or thyroid hormone).  Together these tests will detect over-functioning or under-functioning thyroid glands in over 95% of cases. Your report will include the amount of TSH and free T4 measured in your blood, reference values (the upper and lower limits for most healthy people of your age and gender), and an interpretation of your results with general recommendations.  Occasionally these test results are inconclusive and further testing under the guidance of your physician will be required.

Special Instructions:  None.

Urine Analysis
UA

This group of tests in the urine includes specific gravity, pH, protein, glucose, ketones, occult blood, leukocyte esterase, nitrite, bilirubin, and urobilinogen.   In diabetes several results including protein, glucose and ketones may be abnormal. Your report will include your results for each test, the reference values (upper and lower limits for most healthy people) for each test, an interpretation of your results and general recommendations.

Special Instructions:  None.
